Publicity will be an essential part of the Youth Council's success and therefore the role of the Peer Listeners to publicise this initative is vital.

  • Information will be sent to schools regarding the Youth Council and assemblies may also be arranged in order to maximise publicity
  • The youth clubs in Poole will be very useful to inform young people about the formation of the Youth Council and therefore the Peer Listeners will visit as many youth clubs as possible, including the 70 youth organisations in the voluntary sector.
  • There is the possibility of advertising on the radion through news bulletins to continue to raise awareness of the initiative
  • Leaflets and posters will be delivered to supermarkets, libraries and youth centres to ensure maximum coverage
